Embark on this beautiful journey through the Bandipur Wildlife Reserve in Karnataka & Madhumalai Wildlife Reserve in Tamil Nadu to the foothills of the Western Ghats. Experience a close encounter with the wildlife, myriad bird species, and South Indian hospitality.
Booking procedure:
Step 1: Upon enquiry, we will share an approximate cost for the trip based on the changes (if any) made to the mentioned itinerary.
Step 2: Once the approximate costing and the route is approved we ask for a nominal adjustable deposit of Rs.1000/- per head before we can give you the exact cost (which is plus or minus 5% of the approximate cost).
Step 3: An advance payment of 50% of the total amount (incl taxes) is needed to confirm the homestays. It needs to be paid at the time of booking.
Step 4: Balance payment is expected 2 weeks prior to the date of departure.
Step 5: A final detailed itinerary would be shared after the balance payment, which will include all the experience, included and recommended.
Cancellation policy:
1. In case of a cancellation due to any unforeseen circumstance upto 14days prior to travel date a credit note will be issued to the guest for the amount paid till date.
2.Where the cancellation is within 14days charges @25% of the amount paid will be levied.
3.The credit note will be valid for use within one year from the period of booking. Guest can redeem the credit note against the amount of any future booking within a year and pay the balance if any as per the rates applicable on that date.
4.This credit note is also transferable and can be used by the guest/transferee only once within the stipulated date.
As you land in Bangalore you'll be picked up by our local transport that will drive you towards our beautiful property Dhole's Den. Located near a quaint village bordering the Bandipur Tiger Reserve, Dhole's Den offers the unique experience of being close to the park from where one can hear the calls of its wild inhabitants.
Today is going to be an adventurous day. Wake up to the beautiful view of the Nilgiri mountain range and get ready for an adventurous day ahead. Embark on an open jeep wildlife safari and enjoy close encounters with Sambars, deer, wild boars, and many bird species. After an exhilarating day, relax and unwind with an overnight stay at Dhole's Den.
Today, we will leave Bandipur Wildlife Reserve in Karnataka and drive through Madhumalai Reserve in Tamil Nadu, ascending forty hairpin bends to reach an altitude of 6,000 feet. Stay at Red Hills Nature Resort, an old-worldly property with aesthetic colonial-style cottages. Evenings are best spent exploring the various viewpoints and the tranquil Emerald Lake. Dinner and overnight stay at Red Hills Nature Resort.
Today head out for the guided tea-tasting session with the host, Vijay, who will enlighten you about the intricate process behind producing the most beloved beverage cultivated in the high elevation & learn about the distinctive flavors and the painstaking process that goes into its production.
Drive southwards, descending the mountains, and head towards the plains to Dvara Siruvani, a traditional South-Indian-styled boutique hotel nestled in the foothills of the Western Ghats. Later visit the Isha Foundation, to get a beautiful sight of the largest bust of Shiva in the world.
After breakfast, depart for Coimbatore airport and fly back home taking back amazing memories from the trip.
