Farming in the hills!
Experience the joys of idyllic farm life in the mountains of Sikkim, overlooking Kanchenjunga, followed by a luxury escape amidst alpine forests and rolling tea gardens in Takdah, near Darjeeling.
Booking procedure:
Step 1: Upon enquiry, we will share an approximate cost for the trip based on the changes (if any) made to the mentioned itinerary.
Step 2: Once the approximate costing and the route is approved we ask for a nominal adjustable deposit of Rs.1000/- per head before we can give you the exact cost (which is plus or minus 5% of the approximate cost).
Step 3: An advance payment of 50% of the total amount (incl taxes) is needed to confirm the homestays. It needs to be paid at the time of booking.
Step 4: Balance payment is expected 2 weeks prior to the date of departure.
Step 5: A final detailed itinerary would be shared after the balance payment, which will include all the experience, included and recommended.
Cancellation policy:
On arrival in Darjeeling, start driving along the beautiful landscapes, which will lead you to our beautiful rustic stay in Gangtok at Enchanted Forest Farm*. Spend your evening relaxing in the calmness of the farm & overlooking the scenic view of Gangtok. (A 15-20 minute downhill walk is required to reach the farm from the drop-off point. )
Wake up to the soothing sound of the enchanted waterfalls. Have a sumptuous home-cooked breakfast, and head out to explore the beautiful Gangtok city and take a stroll around the local cafes. Overnight stay at Enchanted Forest Farm.
After breakfast, spend some time at the property before you head to our next stay situated midway between Darjeeling and Kalimpong in Takdah, overlooking Darjeeling’s tea gardens. The rest of the day can be spent fishing or picnicking nearby river is a perfect ending for the day. Overnight stay at Kaleege House*.
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast cooked by our gracious host,Mridula. We will spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the village & tasting the local cuisine. Join the farm hands & be one with nature, or enjoy mini golf as the sun sets on the farm.
Have a leisurely breakfast & spend some time at the property enjoying the valley view & breathing in the fresh mountain air before we say farewell to the hosts & head back to the airport with everlasting memories.
