Policies

Booking Process:
Step 1 – Upon receiving your inquiry, we will provide an estimated cost for the trip based on any modifications to the proposed itinerary.
Step 2 – Once you approve the estimated cost and route, we require a nominal adjustable deposit of Rs. 1000 per person before providing the exact cost (which will be within 5% of the estimate).
Step 3 – To confirm the homestays, an advance payment of 50% of the total amount (including taxes) is required when booking.
Step 4 – The remaining balance must be paid 2 weeks before departure.
Step 5 – After receiving the final payment, we will share a detailed itinerary, including all experiences, both included and recommended.

Cancellation Policy:

  • In case of a cancellation due to any unforeseen circumstance up to 14 days before the travel date a
    credit note will be issued to the guest for the amount paid to date. 
  • For cancellations within 14 days of the travel date, a charge of 25% of the amount paid will be
    applied.
  • The credit note will be valid for one year from the booking date. Guests can use the credit note
    towards any future booking within a year and will need to pay any remaining balance based on the applicable rates.
  • The credit note is transferable and can be used by the guest or transferee once within the specified
    period.

Arrival in Ahmedabad – Dasada Rann Riders

Arrive in Ahmedabad and set off on a scenic drive to Dasada, on the edge of the Little Rann of Kutch. Check into Rann Riders, a charming eco-resort that offers an authentic rural experience. Spend the afternoon exploring the nearby villages where you can observe traditional crafts like pottery and embroidery. Head out for a jeep safari into the Little Rann in the evening. Return to the resort for a relaxing evening.

Rann Riders – Little Rann of Kutch – Local Sights

Spend your morning at the Little Rann of Kutch. Early morning bird-watching session, followed by a visit to the salt pans where you learn about traditional salt-making practices from the local Agariya community. In the afternoon, explore the surroundings or relax at the resort. End the day with a Gujarati dinner.

Dasada – Ahmedabad (House of MG)

After breakfast, drive back to Ahmedabad and check into the elegant House of MG. Spend the rest of the day exploring Ahmedabad's rich cultural heritage. Visit Sabarmati Ashram or shop at Law Garden Night Market. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the House of MG.

House of MG – Bhachau – Khadir Island - Dholavira (Rann Resort)

Catch an early morning train to Bhachau. Drive to Khadir Island in the Rann of Kutch. As you approach the island, the landscape becomes increasingly arid and rugged. Check into Rann Resort and relax. In the early evening, visit Fossil Park and then head to the sunset point to enjoy the stunning views of the Rann.

Rann Resort – Local Sights

Spend the day exploring the ancient ruins of Dholavira, one of the most prominent cities of the Harappan civilization. After a local Kutchi lunch, visit Chipper Point for panoramic views of the Great Rann Lake. In the evening return to Rann Resort and walk through the nearby village to experience local life.

Rann Resort – Devpur Homestay (Devpur)

After breakfast, drive back to the mainland, passing through the breathtaking landscape of the White Rann. Stop at Kalo Dungar (Black Hill), the highest point in Kutch, for spectacular views. Continue to Dhordo, the gateway to the White Rann, to explore the area before heading to Devpur Homestay. This heritage homestay offers a unique and cozy experience in the heart of Kutch.

Devpur Homestay – Local Sights

Start the day with an early morning visit to the Banni Grasslands. A local expert will guide you through a birdwatching safari, where you can spot various migratory birds. After a home-cooked lunch with your guide & family, drive to Nirona Village, famous for traditional crafts like Rogan art, copper bell making, and lacquer work. Return to Devpur Homestay in the evening.

Devpur Homestay – Mandvi Port Town – Vijay Vilas Palace

After breakfast, drive to Mandvi, a historic port town on the Arabian Sea. Visit the traditional shipbuilding yards, and explore the grand Vijay Vilas Palace. Spend the evening relaxing on a private beach, watching the sunset over the Gulf of Kutch. Return to your homestay for the night.

Devpur Homestay – Bhuj – Departure

On your final day, drive to Bhuj, the administrative capital of Kutch. Explore local artisan villages like Ajrakhpur for block printing and Bhujodi for handwoven textiles. Visit the Living and Learning Design Center (LLDC) and explore the region's rich textile heritage. Spend some time at Prag Mahal before enjoying a final dinner in Bhuj. Board your night train back to Mumbai. * Ajrakhpur (LLDC Museum) - Closed on Mondays * The train arrives at 22956 Bandra Terminus (BDTS) station at 11:45 HRS.
