Navigating through the wildlife
The wildlife sanctuaries in South India offer incredible opportunities to witness creatures in their natural habitat without needing a special safari. This itinerary is designed to provide just that. Paired with exclusive homestays along the Western Ghats, this itinerary lives up to its promise as we drive through three national parks and explore the best of South India wildlife.
Booking Process:
Step 1 – Upon receiving your inquiry, we will provide an estimated cost for the trip based on any
modifications to the proposed itinerary.
Step 2 – Once you approve the estimated cost and route, we require a nominal adjustable deposit of
Rs. 1000 per person before providing the exact cost (which will be within 5% of the estimate).
Step 3 – To confirm the homestays, an advance payment of 50% of the total amount (including
taxes) is required when booking.
Step 4 – The remaining balance must be paid 2 weeks before departure.
Step 5 – After receiving the final payment, we will share a detailed itinerary, including all
experiences, both included and recommended.
Cancellation Policy:
Depart from Bangalore to drive along the state highway and pass through the coffee plantations that will lead you to the picturesque hill station of Coorg, to our 19th-century heritage Homestay the School Estate. Check-in and spend the evening at leisure.
Next day wake up to the chirping of birds and freshly brewed cups of coffee. Later, stroll through the lush coffee plantation, and learn about growing and harvesting coffee, cardamom, and other spices.
Check out and make your way to the picturesque region of Wayanad. On the way, stop at the Edakkal Caves, an archaeological wonder with ancient rock carvings and cave paintings. Arrive at Namaha, your homestay for the next 2 days. Relax and unwind.
Have a traditional South-Indian breakfast and set out to explore the surroundings. Visit the Chembra Peak, one of the highest peaks in the region, and enjoy the views of the western ghats from the top.In the evening, relax at the homestay and enjoy their warm hospitality.
Depart Wayanad and make your way to the Kabini region, known for its rich wildlife and scenic landscapes. Arrive at the Bison Wildlife Resort, sitting between Nagarhole and Bandipur National Park. Settle in and later embark on an open jeep wildlife safari and enjoy close encounters with Sambars, deer, and the great Asian elephants.
Spend the day exploring the Kabini region further. Embark on an early morning boat safari on the Kabini River, where you can witness the wildlife in their natural habitat. Visit the Bandipur National Park, a renowned tiger reserve. In the evening, dine in the jungle under a blanket of stars.
Bid farewell and make your way back to Bangalore. Along the way, you can stop at the Srirangapatna Fort, a historic landmark that was once the capital of the Mysore Kingdom.
