Policies

Step 1 – Upon receiving your inquiry, we will provide an estimated cost for the trip based on any
modifications to the proposed itinerary.
Step 2 – Once you approve the estimated cost and route, we require a nominal adjustable deposit of Rs.
1000 per person before providing the exact cost (which will be within 5% of the estimate).
Step 3 – To confirm the homestays, an advance payment of 50% of the total amount (including taxes) is
required when booking.
Step 4 – The remaining balance must be paid 2 weeks before departure.
Step 5 – After receiving the final payment, we will share a detailed itinerary, including all experiences,
both included and recommended.

Cancellation Policy

  • In case of a cancellation due to any unforeseen circumstance up to 14 days before the travel date a
    credit note will be issued to the guest for the amount paid to date.
  •  For cancellations within 14 days of the travel date, a charge of 25% of the amount paid will be applied.
  • The credit note will be valid for one year from the booking date. Guests can use the credit note
    towards any future booking within a year and will need to pay any remaining balance based on the
    applicable rates.
  •  The credit note is transferable and can be used by the guest or transferee once within the specified
    period.

Begin your journey from Coimbatore to the picturesque hill station of Ooty, also known as the "Queen of Hill Stations." Arrive at the Red Hills Nature Resort check in and unwind. Later visit the Botanical Gardens, and stroll through the charming streets of Ooty, admiring the colonial-era architecture.

After a leisurely breakfast, embark on a short-guided hike to the tea plantation, followed by a visit to the Organic farm. Enjoy a relaxed lunch at the property. In the evening proceed for a guided tea tasting session with the host, Vijay, who will enlighten you about the intricate process behind producing this beloved beverage.

Red Hills Nature Resort – Siruvani (Dvara Siruvani)

Drive southwards, descending the mountains, and head towards the plains to Dvara Siruvani, a traditional South-Indian-styled boutique hotel nestled in the foothills of the Western Ghats. Later visit the Isha Foundation, to witness the beautiful sight of the largest bust of Shiva in the world.

Dvara Siruvani – Perumparai (Rajakkad Estate)

Continue on your journey to the Rajakkad Estate in Perumparai, a historic 18th-century wooden structure sitting amidst the coffee and spice plantations. Check in and spend the day exploring the estate.

Rajakkad Estate – Local Sights

After breakfast set out to the estate exploring and learning about the cultivation and processing of coffee, cardamom, and other spices. Return to the homestay to relax and unwind.

Rajakkad Estate – Karaikudi (The Bangala)

Depart Perumparai and continue your journey to the historical town of Karaikudi, known for its magnificent Chettinad architecture and delectable cuisine. Upon arrival at The Bangala - a heritage hotel, check in and spend the afternoon soaking in the swimming pool and unwinding.

The Bangala – Local Sights

Immerse yourself in the culinary delights of Karaikudi today. Participate in a cooking class at The Bangala, where you'll learn the secrets of traditional Chettinad cuisine. In the afternoon, visit the Kanadukathan Palace, a stunning example of Chettinad architecture.

The Bangala – Madurai

Bid farewell to Karaikudi and make your way to the historic city of Madurai, known for the iconic Meenakshi Amman Temple. Spend the day exploring the city before you head to the airport to board your flight back to your hometown.
