This carefully curated itinerary takes you through four stunning national parks, each offering a unique charm and experience. From the green landscapes of Masinagudi to the scenic heights of Ooty, the quiet estates of Valparai, and the serene surroundings of Marayoor, this adventure promises an unforgettable exploration of wildlife, nature, and local culture.
Booking Process:
Step 1 – Upon receiving your inquiry, we will provide an estimated cost for the trip based on any modifications to the proposed itinerary.
Step 2 – Once you approve the estimated cost and route, we require a nominal adjustable deposit of Rs. 1000 per person before providing the exact cost (which will be within 5% of the estimate).
Step 3 – To confirm the homestays, an advance payment of 50% of the total amount (including taxes) is required when booking.
Step 4 – The remaining balance must be paid 2 weeks before departure.
Step 5 – After receiving the final payment, we will share a detailed itinerary, including all experiences, both included and recommended.
Cancellation Policy:
Begin your journey from Bangalore to Masinagudi, in the foothills of Nilgiris. Check in at The Jungle Hut Resort, nestled in the buffer area of Mudumalai Tiger Reserve, and unwind in the peaceful surroundings amidst the wilderness. Later, take a guided nature walk before you call it a day.
After breakfast, check out and drive through the curvy roads that will take you to the picturesque hill station of Ooty. Arrive at the Red Hills Nature Resort, check in, and relax. In the evening stroll through the charming streets of Ooty, admiring the colonial-era architecture.
After a leisurely breakfast, embark on a short-guided hike to the tea plantation, followed by a visit to the Organic Farm. Enjoy a relaxed lunch at the property. In the evening, proceed for a guided tea-tasting session with the host, who will enlighten you about the intricate process behind producing this beloved beverage.
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, drive towards the lesser-explored Pollachi and Valparai mountains. You'll encounter many waterfalls along the scenic route before reaching the charming Sinnadorai Bungalows in Valparai. Watch for elephants and bison as they peacefully roam through the lush tea gardens. Explore the surrounding estate later in the day. Dinner and overnight stay in Sinnadorai Bungalows.
After breakfast, go on a small trek to a nearby waterbody or drive to the Sholayar Dam for a great view. Return to the homestay to enjoy a local lunch prepared by the estate chef. In the evening, trek to the highest point on the property to have the best view of the Western Ghats.
Drive towards the beautiful village of Marayoor, and check in at The MudHouse. Perched atop a quaint hill surrounded by the spectacular landscapes of Sahyadri, it offers the best views. After a soulful home- cooked dinner, head out for a night safari where you will go off-road in a jeep to spot the animals in the wild. Overnight stay at the Mud House.
After breakfast, walk to the Sugarcane plantations and the beautiful crystal-clear streams. In the evening, set out on a bicycle ride to the nearest waterfall and catch a glimpse of 100 fireflies beaming around the area.
Bid farewell to Marayoor and drive to the vibrant city of Cochin. If you have time before your flight, then visit the historic Fort Kochi or the Chinese Fishing Nets.
