Where Spring Blooms All Year Round
Nestled on the edges of the Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary, Mangaal Farmstay is where the rhythm of nature syncs with the soulful charm of a lovingly created home. Jaywant Chowgule left the bustle of Goa’s city life decades ago to embrace this tranquil haven. What he and his partner, Svetlana, have nurtured here is more than a farmstay; it’s a sanctuary for the heart and mind.
Named after the Mangaal flower, or the "Flame of the Forest," the property draws inspiration from the bright red and orange blossoms that herald renewal and spring. This ethos of rebirth is palpable throughout the space. From the first glimpse of its rustic charm to the last sip of local coffee by the breakfast nook, Mangaal Farmstay is designed to reconnect you with life’s simple joys.
Jaywant, an artist by heart, has infused the farmstay with his soul. His ceramics and paintings adorn the home and add a touch of earthy elegance to every corner. Svetlana’s keen eye for experiences ensures each guest feels a personal connection to the land, whether it’s a guided walk through the wilderness or a quiet moment by the fire.
The meals, crafted by local hands, are an ode to Goa’s flavors, served at a long, communal table where stories flow as freely as the laughter. Here, you’ll find yourself in the cheerful company of Biggie and Skinny, the farmstay’s friendly four-legged companions, who are always eager for a shared moment of warmth.
Don’t leave without picking up a piece of Mangaal to carry home - local, handmade products that represent the spirit of this special place, displayed lovingly by the breakfast area.
For those seeking serenity, creativity, and connection, Mangaal Farmstay is a slice of paradise. This is a farmstay where your stories mingle seamlessly into those of the land, the flowers, and the people who call it home.
