Ishwaramalai Homestay sits quietly at the foothills of Valparai, where the landscape unfolds into the rich wilderness of the Anamalai Tiger Reserve. This peaceful retreat is hosted by Lingesh Kalingarayar, a native of Pollachi who brings his love for the land, wildlife, and genuine warmth to every guest interaction. Built originally as a private family residence by Mrs. Madhu Roy, a retired creative professional, and her daughter, Ms. Labonie Roy, an animal illustrator, the homestay is a testament to their love for antiques and natural living. Its four inviting rooms, each overlooking lush greenery, are filled with restored vintage furniture, giving them a timeless charm.
Lingesh also owns a farm nearby, and when not tending to his farm, he is around to share stories, guide you through the wilderness, or ensure your stay is one of comfort and personal connection. Whether you are lounging in the cozy upstairs reading nook or wandering the paths that weave through this unique landscape, Ishwaramalai Homestay offers an experience that is both intimate and refreshingly authentic, where nature's simplicity and beauty are at the forefront of every moment.
It’s a traditional Kerala style house with Mangalorean tiles on the roof with each room decorated in a different colour theme.
All the three rooms are on the ground floor and have a unique character with distinctive styles.

Price Description: The price is for double occupancy and includes all taxes and accommodation with the meals mentioned below.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner
Third Person/Child: Third Person: 3500/-
Raahghar Payment Terms: Reservation is confirmed with an advance payment of 50% of the total amount at the time of booking. The balance payment is to be made 7 days prior to check-in.
Cancellation Policy (Indian Passport Holders Only):
In case of a cancellation due to any unforeseen circumstance a credit note will be issued by the property to the guest for the amount paid till date.
The credit note will be valid for use within one year from the period of booking. The guest can redeem the credit note against the amount of any future booking within a year and pay the balance if any as per the rates applicable on that date. This credit note is also transferable and can be used by the guest/transferee only once within the stipulated date.

Pollachi junction in Annamalai is the closest railway station. The Coimbatore station is 1.5 hours away.

Parking space is outside the main compound. The path to the property is a 1 km mud road but is senior citizen friendly.
The host is a farmer in Pollachi, growing coconuts, areca nuts, avocados etc and passionate about wildlife, birdwatching & fishing. He accompanies guests during such nature activities.
A library turned reading space on the first floor can be used as a workstation.
The food mostly comprises the local Kongunadu cuisine, which is native to Pollachi. Mix of local cuisine, chapatis, continental but mainly local cuisine. Dishes which are native to Pollachi. Some products like coconuts, lemons, etc are from the host’s farms.
Homemade products like pickles & jams as well as organic soaps made by the host’s mother can be bought from the homestay.
